I found a solution for my music sharing/not wanting to use a blog post quandry, the bit of widget from Amazon over on the left side there. I’ll update it with various tracks often, and there’s no need for lengthy blog post excuses anymore, therefore can more frequently. brilliant!
I failed to mention this in advance, most likely due to a frontal cortex impairment that ignores the passage of time, but the plan, like it’s been 2 years before, is to take off the last two weeks in December. Comics will return January 4th, and I’ll post some interim artwork in the meantime. Looking forward to the mental refreshment such a break will provide in order ro return, excitedly, to comic production. Everyone stay safe, we’ll return rrrrright after this!
Bad news first then? Aight:
Now this is the story, all about how my ability to produce work got flipped turned upside down so if you in it for a minute just sit right there, i’ll tell you how my hard drive got burnt to a crisp.
That’s about it, actually. My faithful, loyal laptop’s Hard Drive of many (2) years up and died on me yesterday, along with the possible loss of a few day’s work. (Yay for Time Machine backups, otherwise.) So despite the weather and power issues of yester-maelstrom, i had planned on drawin’ up a comic for today… and i might still upload something on paper. No dice. Instead, I (and you :[ ) just have to wait for the new HDD to come in the mail.
So heyyyy, good news! Heyyy…. hey, there’s a new book on sale! Also, Bagels Vol. 2! I’m actually quite proud of it. It’s approx. 2x the size of Vol. 1, and packed with bonus stuffs! It’s available in the Site Store now!
(Guilt-trippy sob-story sidenote, such support of the comic through book purchases is ALWAYS appreciated, ESPECIALLY in a time of hard drive expense… y’know? I guess you know :} )
Anyways, a genuine appreciative thank you to everyone who’s made a book-bought so far, and for your patience in temporary site dismay!

Get Thee to a New York Comic Con! (Booth O2, webcomics pavillion)
by Bagels on October 12, 2011 at 2:22 pmGreetings and excitations, the New York Comic Con is this weekend, Thursday, October 13th to Sunday, October 16th! I’ll be über-present at the Webcomics Pavillion, booth/table # O2. Like the letter O, followed by the letter 2. The booth, like the element of Oxygen it’s designation represents, is something you can’t live without. (Visiting.) There’s the brand new first-place-you-can-get-it Also, Bagels Volume 2 (!!!!!), the first volume of course, comissions, pins, and plenty of other stuff to keep you interested. All books are artist edition, done right before your eyes! Anyone saying the name “Gingalore Trodd” shall recieve bonus points, for coning fron the site. Hope to see you there! Volume 2 will be available online soon!
The DreadLoxxe storyline is complete, and as you might’ve seen, it takes up quite a bit more… squares. Then a typical 2+ month’s comics. Lots… lots of squares, to be sure.
Just thought I’d let you know (there really isn’t much time left in August, as it is) that I’m going to take the rest of the week and next Monday off, aside from a back cover for the storyline on Wednesday. Comics for the rest of August will be up twice-weekly on Monday and Wed/Thur, just to get caught up on some extra projects and could just use a little breather before September, at which point things will be ramping up from MULTIPLE perspectives. Definitely shifting back into the normal humor tone of the strip, many of you (including myself!) are definitely ready for that… and uh, exciting things to come! Thanks for the support, and stay tuned, wonderful peoples!
(they’re really panels)
